Summer Hollybobs – Hanoi part 2

After that, we walked down past the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to the Ho Chi Minh Museum. We didn’t realise that it was about to shut for lunch so we were being ushered around at great pace by an attendant. We decided to leave and come back again after lunch as the museum is very cool and deserves a more leisurely viewing. There are lots of strange pieces of art, along with artefacts and writings from Ho Chi Minh’s lifetime. Very interesting and provided a lot of insight into the recent history of Viet Nam. In the evening, we went to the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre. Entry was dirt cheap and it was a fun way to spend an hour or so.
