Summer Hollybobs – Mekong Delta Tour part 1 B+W

One of our days in Ho Chi Minh City was spent on a tour of the Mekong Delta. We travelled an hour and a half out of the city and then took a couple of different boats. The smaller of the boats was really fun as the river was very lively. We had some traditional Vietnamese food (loved the red dragon fruit) and got to see some local produce being made. The coconut candy was cool and we bought a bag to go home with. We stopped off at a nice little temple on the way too. Our tour guide was excellent and helped us to understand how Vietnam had changed since the war ended.
